About Me!

hello! My name is Leona Usher and i am a uk based tattoo artist and illustrator. I was born and raised in Middlesbrough in the north east of England and have had a strong passion for anything art related my whole life!

My journey as an artist has been a long one as over the years I’ve explored various styles and mediums trying to make a name for myself as a creative. I began studying BA illustration at Teeside university in 2022 and since then I’ve never looked back. During my time there i have learned so much about the industry and met so many amazing people in it.

In more recent times i have discovered a whole new canvas to work on, skin! In June of 2025 i began my journey into training as a tattoo artist. I began training at blackout academy alongside the skins and needless brand and have refined my skills to proudly say i am a junior artist with skins and needless brand Middlesbrough specialising in illustrative blackwork tattoos! Alongside working as a full time tattoo artist i still adore all forms of illustration and have taken on an array of freelance projects.
