I began my journey as a tattoo artist in the summer of 2025. The process of training involved learning health and safety procedures. Trainees learned the techniques behind tattooing. They also worked on creating lots of original artwork.
And now, as of January 2026, I am officially part of the wonderful team at Skins and Needles Middlesbrough. I have joined as their latest Junior artist!
Tattoo illustrations
Despite what many think, tattooing is not just the ability to replicate an image onto human skin. Becoming a tattoo artist is a very personal journey into finding the art style you wish to be known for. Since beginning my journey, I have spent countless hours creating new designs. I hope they will find their home on someone’s skin one day! personally I enjoy working in a style known as ‘illustrative blackwork’ a lovely combination of cartoonish illustration and realism.
